Farmhouses at Saintes-Maries is an oil on canvas painted by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh in 1888.

Vincent often did paintings with farmhouses. He loved the outdoors and the people who worked hard on the land.

Unlike his earlier paintings in life where Van Gogh used more dull colours, we see in Farmhouses at Saintes-Maries the use of bright strong colours. Vincent shows us the roof of the farmhouses with smoke spiraling from the chimneys. The sky is a striking yellow and green.
