Landscape with Green Corn by Vincent van Gogh was painted by the Dutch post-impressionist artist in 1889.

Vincent loved the land and admired the people who worked on it. During his life he did a number of paintings involving corn.

But his life was often troubled with emotional and mental problems. When we look at Landscape with Green Corn we see no people. The painting has a sort of coldness and loneliness about it.
