PEACH BLOSSOMS IN THE CRAU

Peach Blossoms in the Crau is an oil on canvas painting done by post-impressionist artist by Vincent van Gogh in 1889 in Arles, France.

Van Gogh loved the countryside around Arles and did a number of paintings there. Vincent also had a love of Peach Blossoms and did a number of paintings about them.

Notice the soft tones Vincent has used in Peach Blossoms in the Crau. He has also experimented here with his brushstrokes. Farm houses sit in the background and behing them in the distance are low set mountains.
