Portrait of Madame Ginoux or L'Arlésienne, L'Arlésienne (Madame Ginoux), are the titles of six paintings by Vincent van Gogh.
Vincent did the paintings in Arles, during November 1888 (or later), and in Auvers, during February 1890.
With the first version of Portrait of Madame Ginoux, Van Gogh painted on burlap.
With the second version, Vincent switched to commercially pre-primed canvas.
Later, during the time Vincent spent in the asylum at Saint-Rémy, he completed another four portraits of Madame Ginoux.
He did these paintings based on the charcoal drawing of Gauguin in November 1888.
