THE TRINQUETAILLE BRIDGE

The Trinquetaille Bridge was painted by Vincent van Gogh during October 1888. Trinquetaille is an area in the town of Arles, in southern France. Vincent did three versions of The Trinquetaille Bridge.

Notice the way Vincent has experimented with light and colour in The Trinquetaille Bridge. The sky seems to be almost shimmering.
